Ned’s role: Client-side development management across design coordination, procurement and delivery.
Outcome: A contemporary private residence delivered while protecting the architectural intent and client objectives.

03Country residence · Surrey

Challenge / context: A substantial country residence where an early breakdown between the client and contractor required independent intervention and clear client-side leadership.
Ned’s role: Key member of the team appointed to help resolve the contractor relationship, then retained client-side to coordinate the project and represent the client through the remainder of the build.
Outcome: A sensitively renovated and extended home combining traditional detailing with contemporary craftsmanship.

Challenge / context: A sensitive infill opportunity requiring a carefully judged planning and design response.
Ned’s role: Led the development and planning strategy, coordinating the route to consent and disposal.
Outcome: Planning permission secured for four homes and the site sold to a specialist developer.

Challenge / context: A planning-led residential opportunity requiring a credible strategy across design, planning, viability and disposal.
Ned’s role: Key member of the development team, coordinating consultants and contributing to the planning and development strategy.
Outcome: Planning permission secured for 132 homes and the consented site sold to a registered provider.

Challenge / context: A contemporary five-bedroom eco home responding to its courtyard form and a sensitive landscape setting overlooking the South Downs.
Ned’s role: Development and delivery of the project, coordinating the decisions required to realise its distinctive architectural and environmental brief.
Outcome: An award-winning courtyard home combining contemporary architecture, environmental performance and a strong relationship with its setting.
